Transformation UK
In June, Pastors Brian and Margaret travelled to the UK to organize a Transform Our World Conference UK in 2011. They visited leaders of the Anglican, New Methodist and Assemblies of God churches as well as Christian organisations such as Next Level International and the Hastings Prayer Network and had a great response to the proposed visit of Ed Silvoso and Harvest Evangelism Team members next year. One highlight was the visit to St James Parish Church in Hemingford Grey. Last year Peter Cunliffe, the vicar of this picturesque English country village attended the Transform Our World Conference in Hawaii. Being impacted by the teaching of Ed Silvoso on Nation Transformation and encouraged by the many testimonies from people around the globe, Peter started to teach the principles to the congregation of the small parish church.Brian and Margaret witnessed how, even in the smallest of communities (Hemingford Grey numbers about 3000 people), transformation paradigms make a difference. When they entered the 800 year old church they were drawn to a large street map of the village which was being used to allocate parishioners to pray for their neighbours.Vicar, Peter, also took them on a tour of the town, where they visited the Post Office, which closed down, but was re-opened and refurbished by St James Parish Church to bless the community. This transformational act has begun to open the hearts of the people in the village who tend to keep themselves to themselves. The church is now at the centre of communication in the village and people previously unknown to them are being contacted.
