I was invited to speak at the 20th Annual Transformation Conference in Rosario, Argentina. Despite the distance, I felt greatly honoured to be part of this event. Even though it was all in Spanish, Dave and Sue Thompson did a great job translating for me all day long which meant that I could participate in the whole event. Ed Silvoso was the main speaker, back in the town where he started his TV ministry 30 years ago. One highlight was seeing archive footage from his first telecast! Indeed I found out that most of my own involvement was televised live by Canal Luz (The Light Channel) which broadcasts to the whole of South America. Although he has preached and been interviewed on TV before, he had his first experience of being on a chat show! Towards the end of the show, prayer requests came in... and I had to pray to the camera... quite strange at first, until I imagined the people who were watching and responding. One night I turned up to what I thought was a meeting with a group of businessmen... I thought maybe 5 or 6? As I entered a huge auditorium it was full of about 2000 people and again it was live TV!Pastor Poncho Murguia from Mexico also supported the teaching of Ed Silvoso and brought some powerful testimonies from his ministry in the 'most dangerous city in the world', Ciudad Juarez. Many national pastors also preached throughout the conference. The response was amazing... people were reconciled to each other after many years of indifference. It was very significant for me to return to the nation where I had learned about Nation Transformation in 2007 and to teach the very principles that had spoken to me. I felt like a son coming home to tell his father how to do what the father had taught the son! After the conference I went with Dave and Sue Thompson to the city of San Nicholas where Ed Silvoso grew up. We ministered there and also spent a day at the Harvest Evangelism Training Centre. While I was there, God gave me a vision and challenged me that PCC should have a part of the future development of this training facility. Finally, many thanks for the hospitality of the Argentines and Dave and Sue Thompson.
