From 24th March to 10th April, Pastor Brian was in the UK. Part of this time, 25th to 30th, Dr Ed Silvoso, founder and president of Harvest Evangelism was with him and together they ministered in various cities, holding marketplace seminars and speaking in churches. The following is a report of Pastor Brian’s visit.ReadingWe met with a group of marketplace ministers in the afternoon, and then both ministered at an Anglican church in the evening, pastored by Barry Kirk, where Dr Ed Silvoso had preached on a previous visit to the UK. From there we went to Maidstone.MaidstoneThis full day of seminars was hosted by Daniel Ghinn, a good friend and marketplace minister. We started the day by being shown around the business centre of the host church, Jubilee Ministries, and then commenced a full day of transformation seminars with an attendance of about 160 pulpit and marketplace leaders from the area. Five churches were represented. HastingsOn the Sunday morning Dr Ed Silvoso preached at His Place Community Church pastored by Chris Seers. This was followed by lunch, during which I was able to speak to the Prayer director for Street Pastors UK, regarding Street Adoption. This is the church where Jill Robson, our missionary attends! North LondonIn the evening we spoke at St Barnabas Church, the home of the New Wine movement, a large group of evangelical Anglicans. We were hosted by the vicar, Henry Kendal, who is very interested in bringing transformation principles to the Anglican Church. West MidlandsThe following day we drove to Pastor Brian’s hometown in the West Midlands to meet with a regional group led by Tim Fellows and Paul Chamberlain. About 30 pastors and market place leaders met with us in what Tim called ’the best’ meeting they had ever had, and Dr Ed Silvoso spoke right into their situation. East MidlandsOn Tuesday we drove to meet with Ian Green, Director for Next Level International, and also one of our UK team. While we were there we did an interview on the telephone with the Assemblies of God magazine, RE. WhitehillsFrom there we drove to London for our last night together with good friends, Ross and Lynne Whitehill, who treated us to a great Argentine meal. Dr Ed Silvoso flew back to San Jose, USA, the next day.Wolverhampton Wanderers Football ClubOn 1st April, Pastor Brian, visited the club at the request of Baroness Rachel Flint who has been a friend of mine since the Tsunami appeal. This is a Premiership Team and he was able to meet and bless the players. SunderlandOn 7th April Pastor Brian met with the city pastors and market place ministers in Sunderland, led by David Brown. They reported some good things that had been started, and were very excited about going to the next level in transformation. On the way back from Sunderland, he had a meeting with Gary Rucci, a member of the British AoG national leadership team, at the request of the General Superintendent, John Partington. This resulted in our being able to hold a 2 day Transform Our World Conference on 18th - 19th July, 2011 at the Watford Community Church, an excellent venue for such a gathering.
