Phil.4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
About 2 months ago, I read this verse of Scripture. At the time,
I was going through the most difficult period of my life. I allowed
my problems to get the better of me, to the point where I despaired of
everything. In my weakness I forgot that there is someone who loves
me and is concerned about me.
Other Christians encouraged me to seek God in prayer. God gave me His
Word from Philippians 4:13 to help me and strengthen me. Then I knew
that in all my troubles God was with me to help me, watch over me,
give me hope and to strengthen me. I began to see that my problems
were teaching me more and more about the supernatural power of God
in my life. I saw that in my weakness God became my strength.
The Bible teaches us not to lean on our own understanding but to
trust in His power. Through trusting God, my problems became a lesson
whereby I could grow in a knowledge and understanding of the strength
of God in me to overcome all things.
